Ingrid Kirst has spent 20 years working in Lincoln nonprofit organizations.  Currently she is providing nonprofit consulting and interim executive director services to various organizations.  Previously, Ingrid was Executive Director of Community Crops, a local community garden nonprofit.

Renee Foley- Program Director

Renee was born and raised in Lincoln and has always lived on the North side, Go Rockets!

Renee attended Southeast Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and then taught preschool for 13 years at Bryan LGH Medical Center until she had her second child. She was fortunate to be a stay at home mom for several years until she took the position of Program Director for The Early Learning Center in April 2007.

Renee married her high school sweetheart, Mike Foley. He works for a general contractor and volunteers as NFC’s handyman to help with improvements. Renee and Mike have three children, Emily, Kaitlyn and David.

Renee has a passion for working with children and families. She believes that the childcare provider and families need to have a relationship that is honest and work together as a team so the child can be successful!



Dana Berger – School Community Coordinator

Dana joined NFC in 2017 after spending 16 years down the street at Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters.  She came to Lincoln 23 years ago to go to study Human Services at Southeast Community College and continued to Doane,  to get her Bachelor’s  Degree in Human Relations.  Dana and her husband, James, and have two sons who are 10 and 7 years old.  She enjoys going to sporting events, time with friends and traveling with family.


Sherie Qurie – School Community Coordinator

Sheri has been at NFC since March 2014.  She’s from Nebraska, but has lived in Michigan, Mississippi and Missouri.  While she started my college education at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, she finished with a BA in Management & Organizational Leadership through Grace University in Omaha.  Sherie and her husband, David, have two children who are both in middle school. She enjoys reading, gardening & crocheting when she’s not playing games with my family.
