EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Curt Krueger

Curt is a native of Omaha but has lived in Lincoln for the past 25 years. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and brings a quarter century of experience working with non-profits to his role as the Executive Director of the Northeast Family Center. Curt worked for one year as a family teacher at Boys Town in Omaha and loves working with children. Curt and his wife have five children of their own. Most of their free time is spent enjoying their kids activities; with chess tournaments, speech and show choir competitions, swim meets and basketball games, their calendar is kept pretty full.

EARLY LEARNING CENTER – PARENTS AS PARTNERS

Tori Young – Program Director

Tori has worked at the Northeast Family Center for the past five years. She started working with children when she was 15 and enjoyed it so much that she has made it her career. She has worked with all ages at the Northeast Family Center starting out as an Assistant Teacher, then Lead Teacher and is now our Program Director. She is excited about working with the teachers and the Creative Curriculum to ensure the best quality education for the children. She enjoys camping, reading, and crocheting in her free time.

NORWOOD PARK COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER

Dana Berger – School Community Coordinator

Dana joined NFC in 2017 after spending 16 years at Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters.  She came to Lincoln 23 years ago to study Human Services at Southeast Community College and continued to Doane,  to get her Bachelor’s  Degree in Human Relations.  Dana and her husband, James have two sons who are 10 and 7 years old.  She enjoys going to sporting events, time with friends and traveling with family.

BROWNELL COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER

Sheri Quirie – School Community Coordinator

Sheri has been at NFC since March 2014.  She’s from Nebraska, but has lived in Michigan, Mississippi and Missouri.  While she started her college education at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, she finished with a BA in Management & Organizational Leadership through Grace University in Omaha.  Sherie and her husband, David, have two children who are both in middle school. She enjoys reading, gardening & crocheting when she’s not playing games with her family.
